State Minister Masaaki Taira, accompanied by members of the Cabinet Office, visited CIC Tokyo on the 15th and 16th floors of the Toranomon Hills Business Tower and saw an enormous space of over 6,000 square meters.

CIC Tokyo is scheduled to open in Fall 2020 and will be open to tours for the general public after October.

Before visiting the CIC Tokyo facilities, State Minister Masaaki Taira joined a discussion with other people involved in the project. To open the discussion, CIC Japan Chairman Takaaki Umezawa (Japan Chairman of A.T. Kearney) presented about CIC and explained the role that CIC Tokyo hopes to play in the innovation community and ecosystem in Japan. State Minister Masaaki Taira shared his hopes for how the Japanese government and other political stakeholders can cooperate with and support such efforts.
